About Me

I was born in California but moved to the Puget Sound area when I was in elementary school, so I've spent the major portion of my life around the Bothell / Mill Creek suburban area of Seattle. I graduated from Inglemoor High School and have worked, lived an played in this area ever since. I love the versatility of this area ... where you can snow ski on winter mornings and then sail a boat on the Puget Sound Waters or one of the many Lakes surrounding our area in the afternoon. The weather is temperate and we seldom suffer through harsh winter weather ... and when summer arrives, it's glorious.

I've watched the area grow and prosper with the the advent of MicroSoft and, of course, the beautiful Boeing plant in South Everett. The Puget Sound area is lucky in that it is diversified enough economically to weather through even the toughest of financial times; which, of course we're not immune to. The rise in foreclosure and bank owned properties has not been as great as it has in other parts of the country, but we do have our share. As in all things, our area will recover and prosper again.

When I decided to delve into real estate, I started with investing in "fixer" homes and, with my partner, we remodeled and turned quite a few to a fairly decent profit. I took that experience and decided to get my real estate license and since then I've partnered with my Mother, Carole Swan, who has been a Broker for over 25 years. She and I have formed a great partnership; and because of her experience she's seen almost every situation there is in this business. I've taken over most of the field worlk of showing homes and handling the inspections and the myriad of other items necessary. That leaves her free to concentrate on your contract and making sure that transactions come together smoothly with as little stress as possible to our clients.

Our clients range from the first time homebuyer to sophisticated investors wanting "good" deals out there on a variety of real estate types of property, from single family fixer homes to multi-unit apartment buildings. When we are working for a client we concentrate all our efforts to make sure they get what they want in a timely and expeditious manner.
